Hollywood kutsuu! / Hollywood week is here!

Kun tulin kotiin tänään, sähköpostissa odotti maili SYTYCK-emolta. Olin saanut haasteeni! Miun lajiksi valikoitui (kuten kuvasta ehkä saa vinkkiä) BOLLYWOOD! "Hallitset jo muut lajit kiitettävästi, mutta entä neulomisen hieman toisenlaisella tyylillä?" Kauheen jännää ja hämmentävää ja apua! Oon aika ulalla vielä tän haasteen kanssa, ideoita kyllä on.

I got today mail from our host at the finnish So You Think You Can Knit (SYTYCK) challenge. It said that my challenge is BOLLYWOOD since I'm pretty good already at other types so now it's time for me to try something totaly different. So exciting and confusing and help! I'm kinda lost with this one at the moment, althoug some ideas are raising in my mind.

Mietin steekkaamista. Se on mulla ollut mielessä jo monta vuotta, haluaisin steekata jotain mutta en ole koskaan saanut aikaiseksi/uskaltanut neuloa mitään steekattavaa. Nyt olisi hyvä kohta toteuttaa tämä. Ehkä joku liivi, kirjoneuleliivi olis kiva. Vaikka ronsuja! Tai pöllöjä. Tätä täytyy makustella vähäsen ja kysyä emolta sopiiko steekkaus tähän uudeksi tyyliksi.

At the moment I'm thinking about steeking. It's been on my To do-list for years now, I've wanted to try it for years but haven't gotten around to actually knit anything that would need to be steeked. Now would be a perfect time to do this. A vest perhaps, maybe a stranded vest. With elefants! Or owls. I must think this one and ask our host if steeking is a new knitting style.
