Laatikosta löytyvää / In the box

Villapallo esitteli tänään keskeneräisten laatikkoaan ja haastoi muut samaan. Joten raahasin oman laatikkoni sohvalle ja kuvasin sen sisällön!

Villapallo showed what is in her wip box today and challenged others to do the same. So I dragged my box to the sofa and photographed what's in there!

Laatikosta löytyy vaikka mitä.

There's all sorts of things.

Sukkia. Keltainen on Sockdownin syyskuun mysteerisukan alku, ensimmäinen vihje saatiin tahkottua laikan kanssa maanantaina. Vikkeliraita meinasi nyrjäyttää miun aivot kokonaan. Pinkki sukka on pariaan odottava Propitiate.

Socks. The yellow is Sockdowns september mystery sock after first clue. The vikkel braid was almost too much for me. The pink one is Propitiate that's waiting for its pair.

Näistä en sen enempää kerro, ovat menossa Perinne-Ullaan loppuvuodesta. Mutta sukat ovat.

These are also socks but I won't tell you more about them, they will go to Ulla's traditional knits-extra.

Sitten löytyi huiveja. Laminaria on aloitettu kai maaliskuussa ja on ollut jäähyllä jo monta kuukautta. Ajatus on kyllä rutistaa tämä valmiiksi tässä syksyllä.

And then I found some shawls. Laminaria was started in march I think and has been on hold for several months now. But I will knit this.


Kevätpyörylästä on neulottu 5 vihjettä, tämäkin on ollut jäähyllä. Mutta pääsee kohta takaisin puikoille, kunhan saan ensin Ullaan menevät jutut tehtyä.

Springtime swirl has also been on hold for a while, I've knitted five clues to it. But as soon as I've done articels to Ulla, this will be back on my needles.


Laatikosta löytyy myös UFO. Kesäkuussa 2008 aloitettu huivi Vuorelman kampavillasta. Tätä ei oo kauheesti tehtynä (kuten kuvasta näkyy), hautautui laatikkoon kun tajusin ettei se millään valmistu serkun häihin. En tiedä mikä on tämän kohtalo, neulonko vai puranko. Malli on ihana, lanka myös joten ehkä tämä neuloontuu joskus. Ehkä vuonna 2010.

There was also an UFO. I started knitting this in June 2008 using Vuorelma's kampavilla. I haven't got much of it done ( as you can see from the picture), it went to the box when I realised that it would not be done in time for my cousins wedding. I don't know what will be this shawls destiny, to knit or frog it. The pattern is wonderful, I like the yarn so maybe it will done someday. Like in year 2010 or something.

Summer tweedeistä on muotoutumassa peruspusero. Lanka on miellyttävää ja tykkään väristä kovin. 5mm puikoilla tämä etenee kohtalaisen reipasta vauhtia ja kroppaosa on jo yli puolenvälin.

Summer tweed is being knitted into a basic pullover. I like the yarn and the color a lot. With 5mm needles this is making good proggress and the body is already half done.

Viimeisimpänä laatikkoon on muuttanut tämä purotakki. Takakappale on edennyt noin puolivälin paikkeille. Tuntuu kuin puro neuloontuisi lähes itsestään, kiitos 6mm puikkojen! Tämmöisiä siis löytyy miun keskeneräisten laatikosta tällä erää.

The last cast on on the box is this cardigan. The back is about halfway done. It feels almost that the yarn is knitting itself, thanks to 6mm needles! So these you can find in my box at the moment.
