Kannat kattoon / Put your left foot in

Äiti sai kauniin huivinsa eilen, kuningatarjuhlissaan. Juhlat olivat äidin oloiset ja vieraat viihtyivät hyvin hyvin työintoisesta pitopalvelusta huolimatta (lautaset ja lasit hävisivät pöydästä ennätystahtia eikä tilalle tuotu mitään juomavälineitä boolin nauttimiseen). Äiti piti kovin huivistaan, olen saanut varmaan jo kolme viestiä jossa sitä kehuu ja ilmoitti jo että jos on halua neuloa pitsiä niin hänelle on tilaa huiveille. :)

My mother had her Queen Party yesterday and I gave her present, the Melon pattern shawl. Party was a success and guests enjoyded themselves (despite over enthousiastic catering service which cleared the tables instantly and left no glasses for the punch). Mother loves her shawl and already informed me that if I feel like knitting scarves, she'll have a good home for them. :)

Äitiä ei saanut olemaan sen vertaa paikallaan että olisi kuvattu häntä uuden huivin kera joten otin sitten malliksi Vaimon. Hyvin sopi juhlaeleganssiin tuo huivi.

Mother didn't stay in one place long enough to take pictures of her and the shawl so here is my Wife modelling with it. The shawl looks good with her dress. :)
