Ostetaan: Kiltti / Wanted: a Kilt

Iih, mulla on aivan ihanat pinkit kilttisukat! Olin hieman skeptinen että mahtuuko näihin kontteihin muka polvisukka jossa on aloitussilmukkamäärä on 78 mutta totesin sukkaa tehdessäni että Nancy on jumala, kyllä Nancy tietää! Sillä nämä sukat istuu mun jalkaan kuin valetut! Tein 2,5mm puikoilla, ohjeessa on käytetty 2mm puikkoja ja luulen että kakkosilla olisi tullut liian tiukat sukat.

Lanka/Yarn: King cole anti-tickle merino blend, 175g
Puikot/needles: 2,5mm



These socks are perfect! I hade some doubts about them fitting me since Nancy tells you to cast on only 78 sts which seemed to be too few. But as I have noticed before, Nancy knows and I just need to do as she tells me to! I knitted my socks with 2,5mm dpns instead of 2mm dpns. I think that if I had used smaller needles, the socks would be too tight. But now their just perfect!

Edit! My sockapaloozapartner Corinne has got her socks today!

I'm really happy that the socks fit and that Corinne likes them!

Miun sockapaloozasukkani tulivat tänään! Suzie oli tehnyt miulle aivan ihanat raitasukat regiasta ja sisusta sekä pakannut mukaan sukkien verran Northwoods Dyeworksin merino socksia ihanassa turkoosissa sävyssä!
Sukissa on eriväriset kantapäät ja kärjet! Ihanat!
Nmä suloiset tulivat paketissa kanssa, kuva vähän vääristää sillä väri on vielä enemmän turkoosimpi.

Shortly in english, hopefully everyone can understand at least something about this post :D My sockapalooza4 socks came today! Suzie has made my gorgeuos kneesocks with stripes! They fit perfcetly and colors couldn´t be more me! Inside the package was also some sockyarn, so beautifull that these pictures don´t do them justice. Color is more teal than what it seems to be in my pictures.

It´s hot in here and despite that I´m wearing my beutiful socks! Thank you so so much Suzie!

Spiraalit matkaan!

Miun sockapaloozasukkani lähtivät tänään rapakon taakse kohti uutta kotiaan, toivottavasti pääsevät perille onnellisesti. Mukaan pakkasin talvi-saippuaa ja Muumi-käsipyyhkeen. Salmiakkia piti pakata kanssa mukaan mutta unohdin :P

Tuomio: Näistä tuli oikein kivat ja toivon että parini tykkää niistä myös. Ehdottomasti teen nämä itsellekin mutta en ihan heti perään, vähän meinasi loppua kohden puuduttaa tuo mallikuvio.

Mukaan pakettiin pakkasin Muumi-käsipyyhkeen ja talvipäivä-saippuan, salmiakit unohdin ostaa joten ne jäivät pois paketista.

Nyt odotellaan että koska omat sukkani saapuvat Turkuun asti. :)
